Learn to Play Craps – Tips and Strategies: Want Proof Dice Control is a Scam?
Apr 23rd
Be smart, play smart, and learn how to play craps the right way!
Is it legitimate or a scam? Let’s take a look. I suspect that the notion of dice control is a big-money industry (perhaps, multi-million dollars annually). You name it and they sell it: books, tapes, seminars, full-size practice craps tables, half-size tables (a.k.a. throwing stations), toss bars, dice, and practice grippers. But is it real or just an elaborate hoax to swindle you out of your hard-earned money? The answer seems so obvious. Sadly, the world will never be without plenty of people so blinded by their burning desire to win big that they can’t or won’t stop long enough to think twice before handing over their money.
If you’ve read my other articles and Ebook, you know my thoughts on the world of dice control, dice setting, precision shooting, or whatever else you want to call it. In my opinion, it’s a silly world called Fantasyland. I won’t regurgitate my other works so let’s get to the point of this article. You want proof that dice control is a scam to rip you off? Consider one simple question and its answer. Take a deep breath and try to relax your overwhelming desire to get rich off the casino. Now, ask yourself, “Do you think that the casino would allow truly skilled dice setters to play with an advantage over the house, no matter how slight?” Be honest with your answer.
Again, “Do you think that the casino would allow truly skilled dice setters to play with an advantage over the house, no matter how slight?” Of course not. The casino has the right to deny service to any player for any reason, whether you’re too drunk, too obnoxious, too lucky, too skilled, or too anything. If they don’t want you playing for any reason, they can tell you to leave and there’s nothing you, the law, or anyone can do about it. Consider blackjack card counters. Card counting is entirely legal, but if the casino thinks a player is card counting (and, thus, has a small advantage over the house), it immediately removes him from the game. The casino never accepts a player advantage. The casino always has the advantage–always. Same with craps. If the casino believes a player has an advantage over the house by means of controlling the dice, it removes him from the game. The bottom line is that when the dice hit the back wall, no one knows how they’ll bounce off those rubber pyramids. That’s why casinos allow dice setters to use their wacky tossing routines.
Again, “Do you think that the casino would allow truly skilled dice setters to play with an advantage over the house, no matter how slight?” I’ve never heard of any of the so-called dice doctors, dice wizards, or famous multi-book dice-control authors getting thrown out of a casino because of their dice-tossing skills. Have you? According to their websites and written works, they routinely play in casinos across the globe allegedly beating the crap out of the casino. So, ask yourself again, “Do you think that the casino would allow truly skilled dice setters to play with an advantage over the house, no matter how slight?”
Casinos have been around for a long time. They’re big business. Consider the multi-billion dollar resorts in Vegas (yes, that’s “billion” with a “b”). Do you honestly think they haven’t thoroughly examined the legitimacy of dice control? A player advantage smacks those mega-businesses right where it hurts–in their wallets. Do you honestly think the casinos would tolerate and allow a player to play with an advantage over the house? The answer is obvious to me. Is it obvious to you? Put yourself in the casinos’ shoes. If you have the right to deny service to anyone for any reason, why would you allow anyone to play with an advantage over you, especially at a craps table? I doubt that you would.
If you agree that casinos do allow dice-control specialists to play, and if you agree that casinos don’t allow players to play with an advantage over the house, then what does that tell you about all the books, articles, websites, newsletters, and magazines that claim you can beat the crap out of the casino by using dice control? I don’t see how the answer could be any more obvious or simple. Casinos allow dice setters to play; casinos don’t allow a player to play with an advantage over the house; therefore, it stands to reason that the casino doesn’t believe the dice setter can gain an advantage over the house. It’s that simple. You wanted proof that dice control is a scam? That sounds like awfully convincing proof to me, how about you? If it’s true that the casino doesn’t believe the dice setter can gain an advantage over the house, then why should you believe it?
If you still don’t see the light, it’s probably because you’re desperately clinging to your blazing desire to beat the crap out of the casino. You want so badly the idea of dice control to be legitimate that you can taste it. You think, “Regardless of what you say, I saw a guy last night set the dice and he rolled point after point. It worked for him, so how can you say it doesn’t work?” Simple. It was his turn to get lucky at that particular instant in time. Everyone has good times, mediocre times, and bad times. Even the dice setter gets lucky occasionally. The question is whether the dice setter is consistently a winner. He’s not. His hot streak turns cold, just as it does for everyone. Minutes after his hot roll, the dice setter again goes through his wacky motions, but this time he immediately rolls a losing 7-out. As we learned in my other articles, it’s not the player’s dice-shooting skill or the player’s betting system that makes him a winner, it’s the distribution variance. The game is designed for the player to lose, so the player’s only hope for winning lies with the phenomenon called variance. Nothing more, nothing less. (Read my other article titled, Variance.)
One more time, “Do you think that the casino would allow truly skilled dice setters to play with an advantage over the house, no matter how slight?” Rationally think about that question and its answer, and then decide for yourself if the notion of dice control is a scam. If the casino doesn’t believe dice setters can gain an advantage over the house, then why should you believe it?

Casinos Italiani
Apr 22nd
When most people think of Italy, they think of the food, the art museums, or the ancient Roman culture. What most people don’t know about Italy is that it can be a great destination for people who want to include some gambling on their vacation. Although Italy doesn’t have many casinos, the places they do have are well worth the visit for tourists who want to experience something a little different than what they expected on a trip to Italy.
While there are only a handful of casinos in Italy, visiting one of them is well worth the trip. There are two distinctive sides to gambling in Italy. One is very much like the American version, casual clothes and lots of slot machines. On the other hand, many Italian casinos have what is called the “French Games” section. Even in the more casual Italian casino, the Casino Municipale di Campione d’ Italia in Campione d’ Italia, part of the casino has a dress code as well as an entrance fee (about $12.50 US). The other Italian casinos, including Casino De La Vallee in Saint Vincent (near Turin), Casino Municipale di Sanremo in San Remo (near Nice, France), and the Casino Municipale di Venezia in Venice, don’t allow people in street or casual clothing and all charge some type of entrance fee. Indeed, Italian casinos epitomize the glamorous image of European gambling made famous in James Bond movies.
All of the cities mentioned only have one casino except for Venice. The Venice casino is interesting because it is really one casino split in two, one which is open in the summer and the other that is open in the winter months. Also a little bit different is that the Casino Municipale di Venezia also offers gin rummy tournaments in addition to the gambling.
Besides the dress codes and the entrance fees, there are other things to be aware of before you plan a trip to an Italian casino. The first thing is that in all of Italy’s casinos, the language spoken is Italian. If you are planning on spending any time in casinos, you should, at the very least, learn some Italian phrases and other gambling vocabulary. Also, the gambling age in Italy is 18 so students and younger people who may not be allowed to gamble in the USA, where the legal age is 21, are permitted to do so in Italy. In addition to gambling, Italian casinos feature live music and entertainment as well as restaurants and nightclubs. One thing Italian casinos do not have, however, are hotel rooms, so lodging arrangements need to be made separately.

Roulette Strategies
Apr 22nd
Casinos’ have been pocketing the chips of roulette players since the 18th century. It has been one of their greatest money makers, due to its large house edge. The house edge comes from the fact that the casino gets 1 or 2 extra pockets than you. It’s like they’re playing poker with an extra card.
Yet, many still believe that there is some way that you can overcome this house edge. People have come up with roulette strategies like the: Martingale, Fibonacci, d’Alembert, Regression, Reverse and a hundred other variations. The internet is full of many more roulette systems that don’t work, being pushed by people who want to make money of casino commissions.
All of these roulette strategies revolve around what is known as “gambler’s fallacy” – the belief that a certain number is more likely to come up due to past events. They rely on the hope that you will have certain winning streaks and not have certain losing streaks.
Of course, being a “fallacy”, past spins have no impact on future spins. It’s not like the roulette wheel has a memory. This means that any spin of the roulette wheel is completely unpredictable. The only thing predictable about roulette is that you’ll lose around 2.6% to 5.3% of money each spin. The longer you play, the more money you lose.
The best strategy you can have for playing roulette is, have fun. Don’t expect to win and don’t be more than you can afford to win. Choose an amount you would like to win. If you win it, leave.
But, if you just can’t live with the fact that the casinos are beating you. You may want to look into the strategies real professional roulette players use to make money playing roulette.
One such strategy, that has proven to be very profitable for some people in the past, is bias wheel playing. This where you find a wheel that is not random. If a wheel is not random, it will have certain numbers that come up slightly more than they should. This can be due to an unlevel or worn wheel.
Unfortunately, it is very hard to find a bias wheel. If you presume a wheel is not random, and you’re wrong, you will lose money very quickly. Fortunately, I’ve designed an easy to use program that detects bias wheels while you play roulette online. Omaha Hi-Lo Basic Strategy
Apr 21st
Omaha Hi-Lo is an interesting and complex game, but one that because of that very nature offers some basic and easy strategies to come ahead in the long run. Because of all the cards in play, and the fact that often times there are two winning hands and the pot will split, a lot of action is created in Omaha Hi-Lo, and even the best pros in the world disagree vastly on strategies, sometimes even offering conflicting advice.
Because of the activeness of Omaha Hi-Lo, you will never find a game with more bad hands being played, and even raised on, all the way to the river, or even after they are beaten. Because of this, logic dictates that you only play very strong hands. Because of the sheer number of players who don’t even understand the basics of what they’re doing (or who only know to raise on A-2 and nothing else), if you play an extremely conservative game of Omaha Hi-Lo and keep yourself from chasing, you will always come out ahead in the long run.
The best hand mathematically is A-2-3-4, because it will win a piece of the pot over 40% of the time, which is astounding, because it gives you all the plays on the best low hand as well as straight cards, and if the ace is suited with only one other card, that still leaves decent flush possibilities. Basically any hand with A-2 is playable because it gives you a good shot at the low. A very good hand is one that gives you a good chance at the high and low. So A-2-K-3 with the A-2 suited and the K-3 suited is a great hand because you have a shot at two high flushes, the two highest straight cards, and the three lowest cards. This gives you a great shot with most flops to make something out of your hand.
In a game of Hi-Lo, you never want to be scooped. Scooped is where you miss out on both hands and get nothing back, that’s why having a hand that can go after the high and the low is so important. Four high straight cards like A-K-Q-J are also worth playing because if the low hand misses completely on the flop, the high hand will take the whole pot. You only want the strongest hands. Do not play anything that is “kind of” strong, “decently” strong, or “fairly” strong. These are the hands that will end up getting scooped the most often.
Omaha Hi-Lo
Because of the action in Omaha Hi-Lo, you can play ultra-conservative and still rest assured that when you play, you will still see action, and that’s the key. Why go in weak when they will still call you when you’re strong? Always look for A-2 or A-2-3, or high straight cards. Suited is better than not (and only two cards suited is fine, but don’t chase a low flush–it will be beat) as well as straight cards. A-2-K-J and A-2-7-8 are both much better hands than A-3-9-7. Don’t play because it looks like there might be something; that’s how you give away your money.
Play ultra-conservative, bide your time, and push hard when you hit your hand to cash in. Play like that, and you will be amazed how much your chip stack can improve, even with only two or three hands an hour. Let players and pros argue over strategy, just play like a rock and in the long run you will come out ahead.
